MenuHost

Sony menus are deep, and the setting you need is never where you left it. Search in plain words and MenuHost tells you exactly where it is on your camera: the tab, the group number, the item number and the steps to get there.

What it does

Search in plain words

Type what you mean, not what Sony called it: “eye af”, “burst”, “silent shutter” or “format card” find the right item, even with a typo.

The exact place

Every result gives the tab, the group number and the item number, the same numbers you see on the camera's screen.

Step by step

Clear steps from the MENU button to the setting, including which way to turn the Still/Movie/S&Q dial when the menu changes with it.

Your body, not a generic one

Pick your camera and every path is for that model and firmware. Moving from one body to another? An item shows where it lives on the others.

Browse the whole menu

Prefer to look around? Browse each tab as the camera lays it out, in photo or movie mode, with the same colours and numbers.

Nothing to track

No account data of its own and nothing sent anywhere: the menus are built into the app and searching happens in your browser.

A look inside

A real search on an α7 IV: what you type, the steps it gives you, and the same place on the camera.
